Hackathon

I just got back from my first ever Hackathon and boy was it grilling! I don't think I have sat in a room for such a long, continuous amount of time. Everyone there was seriously so smart! There were tons of amazing graphic designers and software engineers. I ended up pitching yesterday and getting selected to work with two of the most amazing people. We changed our idea that night at 8 PM.

We could not figure out one of the problems with TutorTrade and so we decided to jump ship and go with another idea. Our developer and designer stayed up most of the night to get the project all finished. We then worked all day Saturday and let me tell you, it was grueling. We ended with a product that works and the UX design was seriously off the charts! I was so proud of my young team. We ended with the name Pigeon. Basically, it is a human resources software tool and we are super excited about it. We will find out the results in another few weeks. I need a Thanksgiving break because I am seriously burnt out. We will see how everything turns out but, hey on the bright side Nobility is making me rich!
